The cottage location is excellent, fantastic views over Mevagissey harbour - many pleasant mornings and evenings watching the boats coming and going. The road to the cottage is very steep at the start, so those with mobility issues may struggle to walk down. But for those that want to leave the car for a few days there are plenty of ways to exploRead morere, boat trips from Mevagissey including a ferry to Fowey (which we managed to see dolphins from), also there is a bus stop at the end of the road which takes you into St Austell. Great shops in Mevagissey including the Leather Shop and art shops along with the normal souvenir shops. Food wise there is something for everyone great handmade ice cream ! The Cottage itself is very clean, spacious and well equipped. Jacqueline the host was very helpful nothing was to much trouble, any query was quickly resolved. Hide

Gorgeous house in amazing location. A very short walk into Mevagissey village, which has everything you need. We spent a lot of time enjoying the harbour area and boutiques, and spotted the seals in the harbour a few times. We took the ferry to Fowey and back and saw dolphins too! The owner was very helpful and welcoming and even left us freshly baked scones, cream and jam. The views from the house are stunning. We loved our stay at Waikari. Easy key box collection, received a warm welcome from the property owner and complimentary scones and jam and cream on arrival, lovely touch! The beds were super comfy, the house layout totally suited us - two older kids in the bedrooms upstairs with their own WC, and me and the husband downstairs in a comfortable and Read morespacious double bedroom with the main bathroom. Kitchen very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lovely patio set out the back for relaxing breakfasts. The house is immaculate, the welcome warm, the weather hot and perfect! Beautiful views from the property and a 10 minute walk to the stunning Mevagissey harbour (a steep hill though for anyone who may be restricted with walking) and the all important parking area right outside the house which was more than ample for our large SUV. Highly recommend, we are really looking forward to coming back. Thank you for a perfect stay - we were sad to leave!! Hide
