Up to five guests and three canine companions can stay in this cosy retreat in the North Cornwall National Landscape. Explore the surrounding coastal trails, secluded coves and traditional seaside towns while staying in the sleepy countryside village of Trelights. Relax in a classic, country-style bungalow with a garden and an open-plan kitchen/diner.
Step inside and find yourself in the hallway leading to the neutral-toned lounge with ocean-themed decor, wooden furnishings and tones of blue, green and grey throughout. Natural light pours through the sliding glass doors into the seating area with two sofas, a wood burner and a quirky pebble-stack lamp. Continue into the kitchen/diner to find a large wooden dining table with chairs in the centre of the room with red tiled flooring and tones of green, blue and white. A door to the garden sits beside the white and black ‘L’-shaped fitted kitchen unit with a range-style cooker. Along the hall is a white shower room with a WC plus three bedrooms – a king-size, a twin and a bunk room with 3’ beds. Outside is an enclosed garden with a lawn. There’s private parking for two cars plus on-street parking in the village.
While staying in the quiet village of Trelights, you’ll be just 2 miles from the fishing village of Port Isaac, where you can spot filming spots for the TV series Doc Martin. Pop into the tearoom, wander through the narrow streets and admire the harbour during your visit. From here, you can also hit the South West Coast Path to National Trust Pentireglaze (3.5 miles) and the sweeping golden shores of New Polzeath (3.5 miles). Take the little ones to Camel Creek Family Adventure Park (2.5 miles) or step back in time at Tintagel Castle (13 miles).
