Nestled on the outskirts of the postcard-pretty village of Egloshayle, this rustic yet homely country cottage provides the perfect base for families and groups of friends to explore Wadebridge and the breathtaking North Cornwall coast.

Brimming with wonderfully rustic features, including ceiling beams and exposed stone walls, the light and airy open-plan lounge/diner that welcomes you at the end of a day’s adventure boasts a wonderfully warm atmosphere that invites weary walkers to unwind; the wood burner sets the scene for complete relaxation. The adjoining country cottage-style kitchen, bursting with charm, will capture your imagination, inspiring creative minds to whip up something delicious with fantastic new local flavours. Enjoy a soothing soak in the lovely roll-top bath in the contemporary bathroom before heading upstairs to retire to super-king-size, double, or single bedrooms, all featuring traditional beamed, sloping ceilings that echo the rich heritage of the cottage. From sunrise to sunset, the enclosed south-facing decked area in the terraced garden is the ideal spot to enjoy al fresco dining well into the evening. Private parking for one car is available at the cottage.

Brimming with scenic walks and quiet country lanes, find pure peace and tranquillity in the sleepy village of Egloshayle, the starting point of a wonderful walk alongside the River Allen. Straddling the River Camel, the traditional Cornish town of Wadebridge, just a mile away, is home to a fantastic selection of local shops and cafés. Following a disused railway route, cycle or stroll along the iconic Camel Trail from Wadebridge, an 18-mile-long path that runs alongside the Camel Estuary from Padstow to Wadebridge before joining the beautifully wooded Camel Valley to Bodmin. The stunning beaches of Harlyn Bay and Trevone Bay along the Trevose Headland can both be reached within 11 miles.

A fabulous cottage in the quiet hamlet of Egloshayle. Very comfortable and clean and totally relaxing. Staircase to bedrooms has low headroom but we soon got used to it. Parking space very helpful and owner was amazingly quick to sort out an issue. Highly recommend. We are booked to return.

Ideally situated for access to the A389, 10 minute walk to Wadebridge and literally next door to the pub. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge seating and comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Downstairs bathroom with separate bath and shower. Outside space is limited to a wooden terrace which does get sunshine during the day aRead morend some seating outside the backdoor. Parking is on a driveway with good access albeit the roads are small and tight around this part of the town. Hide
