Immerse yourself in the peace and tranquillity of rural Cornwall with a stay in this bright and beautiful farmhouse on a working sheep farm. Located inland, approximately 5.5 miles from Padstow and just a little further from the area's famed ‘Seven Bays’, this is the perfect spot for a classic countryside retreat. This wonderful part of the county boasts seven magnificent sandy beaches, each connected by the South West Coast Path. Set yourself the challenge of exploring all seven bays in seven days, discovering something special in each of these golden coves. After long days filled with sunbathing, ball games and swimming, return to the comfort of your pet-friendly, six-person holiday home for peaceful, uninterrupted evenings.

Kept homely and inviting throughout, this two-storey cottage has been thoughtfully designed with comfort at its heart. Step inside to find an open-plan lounge/diner with the kitchen just next door. During winter stays, enjoy cosy nights curled up beside the warmth of the wood burner-effect fire. In the summer months, step out into the large lawned garden and relax on the furnished patio, soaking up the last of the day’s sunshine. Back inside, you’ll find a ground-floor bathroom before making your way upstairs. On the first floor, a twin bedroom and a four-person family room share Jack and Jill access to an en-suite bathroom. Outside, private parking for two cars is provided.

This part of Cornwall is renowned not only for its pristine beaches and dramatic cliff-top scenery but also for its outstanding food scene. Sample the delights of impressive gastro pubs around Constantine Bay (6.5 miles) or treat yourself to a meal at a celebrity-owned restaurant in Padstow. The charming town of Wadebridge (4.5 miles), set on the banks of the River Camel, is also worth a visit – a bustling market town with shops, pubs and plenty of cyclists stopping off along the Camel Trail.

The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a great base location for Padstow and Trevone Bay which were our favourite destinations - both about 15 minute drive away. There are some lovely nearby pubs and bakeries, Da Bara is a must visit for beautiful pasties and The Ship Inn, Wadebridge was the best Sunday lunch wRead moreeve had. Overall, we had the relaxing break we had hoped for with beach walks, sunsets and nice food. Thank you to Anna and Luke Hide
