Immerse yourself in the impressive surroundings and exceptional interiors of this rural farmhouse. This traditional stone cottage has been thoughtfully renovated to blend contemporary comforts with charming original features – think exposed stone walls, original beams, modern appliances and tasteful decor. Spacious and welcoming, the property sleeps up to nine guests and is ideal for long-awaited getaways or reunions with extended family. It’s also pet friendly, with up to four dogs welcome. Located just 4.5 miles from Bodmin and 6 miles from Wadebridge, this enviable base puts North Cornwall’s spectacular beauty spots within easy reach.

Tastefully decorated throughout, this two-storey farmhouse clearly showcases a discerning eye for detail. Families will love splitting off into the two cosy lounge areas on the ground floor. One features a soft L-shaped sofa, an open fire and a Smart TV, while the second is a snug with its own Smart TV, Xbox 360 and a selection of games. Bring everyone together in the spacious kitchen/diner for hearty meals, or head out into the large lawned garden to dine on the patio. The garden also includes a children’s playhouse and a BBQ – perfect for sunny afternoons. Inside, a ground-floor shower room with a unique water trough feature adds character, while a second shower room upstairs serves the five generously sized bedrooms. Ample off-road parking rounds out the property’s offering.

Each morning brings a wealth of adventure options – explore the coast, the countryside, and the picturesque towns and villages nearby. Bodmin is a magnet for walkers and cyclists, lying on the iconic Camel Trail, an 18-mile route following a disused railway line through glorious Cornish scenery. An absolutely beautiful home in the middle of the rolling countryside. You couldnt hope for more a more peaceful spot, a more spacious house or more stylish surroundings. Everything you could have wanted was available and well equipped, spot on house

Tregenna Cottage is situated at the end of a dead end lane, with space for on street parking, as well as a timber open fronted Garage for off street parking. I would say if you travel with a roofbox (like us) the Garage wouldnt be suitable. The area is blissfully quiet with a view to die for, with most mornings you were welcomed by local Deer/DoeRead more grazing on the land. The cottage is complimented by an enclosed garden for dogs, so no worry of them escaping. We visited with Grandparents meaning the ground floor shower room was a real benefit, along with two separate sitting rooms. The kitchen was very well equipped with utensils, a modern electric oven, air fryer as well as a rustic AGA too. I would highly recommend the cottage, and sure to return when we can. Hide

We had a lovely break and the house was perfect for our large family. The location was remote and idyllic. Beautifully quiet to get away from it all. The facilities were great too and the enclosed garden with the dogs was an added bonus.
