Situated in a traditional stone building on a calm, quiet street, this charming end-terrace home accommodates five guests for an unforgettable getaway with family or friends. A handful of village amenities are right on your doorstep, with North Cornwall’s striking coastline just 3 miles away and the spectacular Bodmin Moor 4 miles beyond.

Soft pastel tones, bespoke features and local artworks lend a boutique feel to this two-storey property – step inside and prepare to unwind. Slate flooring and shuttered windows add to the old English charm of the lounge, furnished with a wood burner, ample comfortable seating and a Smart TV for restful evenings in. In the kitchen, a welcome pack filled with Cornish treats invites you to tuck in before moving through to the dining room-turned-snug, where you’ll find additional soft seating and another TV. A shower room is also located on this floor. Upstairs, each of the three bedrooms is comfortable, stylish and individually designed. The largest boasts an en-suite bathroom complete with a luxurious copper slipper bath. Outside, steps lead to an elevated, fully enclosed lawn and a patio area with outdoor seating and a built-in BBQ – ideal for sunny days and starry nights. There’s also private parking for one car.

Take advantage of the property’s small garage for storing surfboards and bicycles, and dive into the abundance of outdoor adventures just beyond your doorstep. Visit Trebarwith Strand (4.5 miles), a glorious sandy beach with lifeguard cover and waters popular with wild swimmers and surfers. Further along the South West Coast Path, explore the atmospheric medieval ruins of Tintagel Castle (5.5 miles) and the romantic harbour village of Boscastle (8 miles).

We had a fantastic stay at Ruth's Cottage. It was equipped with everything you could need, very comfortable beds, and the copper bath in the master bedroom was the perfect relaxing end to a busy day exploring. The garden is very private and the deck chairs were very comfortable, we enjoyed spending time in the garden in the evening making use of thRead moree BBQ. Debbie and Paul have created an amazing base for exploring north Cornwall at Ruths Cottage. It is both an artistic space and a comfortable home where nothing is overlooked and everything is provided. What a find ! And of course that bath .. unique!

Ideally located for the coast and magical Tintagel Castle, this cosy, comfortable, well-equipped cottage has everything you need for a splendid dip into the flavours of Cornwall. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the garage was great for storing a bike. Debbie was extremely warm and friendly. The bath was lovely and the decor was great. Everything in the property was done to a high standard. Nice quiet area. Highly recommended.

Perfect cottage for a relaxing break. Spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable with an amazing bathtub in the en-suite. Kitchen very well equipped, this cottage has everything you need. Owner very friendly. Definitely recommend.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful and a fantastic base for days out. Lovely and clean and comfortable, we had an great stay here and didnt want to leave!
