The house was fully equipped, including all linens and bath towels. It was immaculately clean. The kitchen is well laid out and fully equipped. Upstairs is much more spacious than the photographs suggest. We arrived to a fairly cold late May day and woke to mist the following morning. However, the house was still bright and warm. The weather theRead moren changed to a heat wave for the May bank holiday weekend and this time the house was wonderfully airy and with the outside balconies and sea breeze, we remained cool. Downstairs remained cool in the evenings until the bedrooms were cool enough to sleep. The garage was a wonderful extra as parking in the road is limited and it also kept the car cool. We note that some previous guests had commented on the steps to the house and the steps down to Looe. Although daunting at first, we took them slowly and we managed despite my husband on a waiting list for knee surgery. It is difficult to see how hills could be avoided in Looe unless staying down by the harbour. The benefits of staying at Wood View are the convenience to the town, beach and the coastal path in either direction, the views and it is away from the hustle and bustle and noise of bars and pubs. Wood View Cottage is very comfortable with lovely views from the many terraces. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully furnished home. Looe is very pretty with some great places to eat and drink. We would definitely stay at the property again but the walk uphill back from Looe is very steep and not recommended for less mobile people.

The cottage was good for the week however much smaller than the photos and write up indicate. With 3 flights of stairs down to the property after negotiating small garage parking and a long, steep walk into the town and back would mean we wouldnt book again or recommend.

Well-eqipped, cosy cottage with fantastic views. Lots of steps to access property, which is at the top of a very steep hill. Beware that there are lots of very narrow roads in Looe, which are hard to navigate by car. Loads of places to eat out in Looe but you need to book in advance during school holidays.
