This two-bedroom cottage in Padstow is the ideal base for a couple, or a small family, looking to enjoy coastal walks, seafood restaurants, and water-based activities.

A sense of comfort sweeps through the ground floor with whitewashed walls and blue tones creating a soothing atmosphere. After a day’s activities, the lounge is a relaxing space with a comfortable sofa that invite you to kick-back and watch a film on the Smart TV. When mealtimes beckon, step through to the well-equipped kitchen and prepare delicious meals that can be served at the table with seating for four people. From the living area, stairs lead to the first floor where two bedrooms are located. Featuring a king-size bed and twin beds, the rooms are unfussy and awash with natural light. There’s also a pristine shower room on this floor. Back on ground level, the patio table is the perfect spot for a quiet coffee. Overlooking a small garden, it’s a tranquil place to sit and bask in the sun.

Padstow is a vibrant town with plenty of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. It also has a working harbour, coastal paths, and sandy beaches nearby. Keen walkers can explore the coastline on foot with the South West Coast Path less than 1 mile from the doorstep. Alternatively, hire bicycles and take a ride along the scenic Camel Trail. For a day at the beach, take the foot ferry to Rock (1.5 miles) and spend the day swimming, sailing, or kayaking. Also worth a visit is Prideaux Place, an Elizabethan manor house (0.5 miles) packed with antiques and memorabilia. Afterwards, be sure to stroll through its beautiful gardens and deer park.

We had a lovely holiday staying in Bay Tree cottage. It is in a great location for walking into Padstow. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and extremely clean and comfortable. There is ample storage in the kitchen and bedrooms. Main kingsize bed is really comfortable, however the shower is very small for even the smallest person. This is a nice property perfectly located for Tesco. Walk into town and the harbour easy going in but bit harder returning due to the steep hill. The kitchen is very well equipped and quite spacious for a small property. Main bedroom is nice, plenty of hanging and storage space. The second bedroom is quite small with only a small space to hang Read morea few items and not much room for anything else. So would say this property is perfect for two adults and two children but feel its not big enough for four adults. The cleaner does a very good job, (we met her on our departure). Everything was spotless. Would be happy to return here and recommend to others. Hide

The house is only a short walk from Padstow Harbour, but it is a steep walk back. My wife struggled with this as she has arthritis. There is a local bus service with buses which stop by Tescos every hour. Taxis are very difficult to book as seem to be busy all the time.

Just a lovely holiday pad in a perfect location, walking distance to beautiful Padstow & should the need arise very close to a supermarket. Cottage was very comfortable & everything we needed was there. Highly recommended!
