The historic market town of Launceston is 8 miles away and known as the ‘gateway to Cornwall’. History buffs can enjoy exploring Launceston Castle, a great picnic spot with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Step into this characterful cottage, and you will immediately appreciate the beautiful blend of original and contemporary features, including exposed walls and wooden beams. This lovely two-storey country-style property offers a homely ambience and marvellous uninterrupted views across to Dartmoor. Downstairs, enter directly into the heart of the home and step into the kitchen/diner. The kitchen boasts all the necessary appliances to cook up a storm. Eat together in the lovely dining area and plan your next day of adventure. When you want to relax, sink into the plentiful and comfortable seating in the lounge, which has a warming wood burner for chillier evenings. Enjoy a movie night courtesy of the Smart TV. A short drive from the cottage are the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor (16 miles), the Tamar Valley (20 miles), and Dartmoor National Park (17 miles) – ideal for nature lovers and walkers. For those looking for golden sands, Bude’s beautiful beaches are 17 miles away, or discover picturesque fishing villages such as Boscastle and Tintagel (19 miles).
