Explore the quiet lanes near your holiday home on foot or by bike and take a pony trek across the moorland. A ride on the vintage Launceston Steam Railway is fun for all ages, and dogs on leads are welcome travellers. Launceston has an impressive, ruined Norman castle, a 14th-century gatehouse and an excellent Pop-Up Museum with fun activities for children. Atmospheric Tintagel Castle, reached by a spectacular footbridge across the sea, is less than 2 miles from Trebarwith Strand.
