Cottage was clean and comfortable. We liked the loft room. Second bedroom there is no ventialation as windows dont open. Car parking very tight with SUV ended up parking on the street. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal. Loved the nespresso machine. If you are going can recommend taking some pods with you.

A really nice cottage far enough away from the hustle and bustle of St Ives, well equipped and comfortable, just a few updates are needed to make it perfect. It was an extraordinary hot week, so to walk early morning to the Carbis Bay beach with our two cocker spaniel girls was not possible, as it was too hot ,even first thing - so we ended up driRead moreving to Hayle Towans beach which was great for dog owners and well worth a visit. We would stay again sometime. Hide

Nice cosy cottage for our stay in St ives. Well equipped, our kids loved the snug and ps4. Dishwasher and laundry facilities ideal. There's an artificial fire. We expected a log burner from the description and had brought wood especially. We have a large car and struggled to park it in the driveway as the access from the lane was too tight. The lounge kitchen floor was buckled due to expansion and poor fitment, the upstairs shower head rail fell off the wall " screw rusted through" and finally as we left the key box would not work??? Holiday Cottages response - "Thank you for your review following your stay at Knill Cottage West. You were advised the garage door was broken prior to your stay and we worked closely with you to ensure the garden was secure and you had some privacy. The flooring in the lounge has been fixed and you notified us of the shower being broken on your final day and can confirm this has also been fixed. We have also replaced the key safe box at the property with a larger one. Despite the issues you experienced at the property, we hope you enjoyed your stay and visiting St Ives. Hide
