We had an absolutely lovely week at Gilly Barn, the house was beautiful, immaculately clean, very comfortable and had everything you could need. It is located in a great position, centrally to a lot of the main attractions and in a peaceful and private setting, but easy to get to main roads too. We really loved our long weekend at Gilly Barn. The house is spacious, comfortable, cosy and calm. It is set in a beautiful rural location, and in a brilliant spot to easily explore the whole of South West Cornwall. We felt very at home from the moment we arrived, with a warm welcome, accommodating a slightly early check-in, and the offer of a lateRead more check out. Thanks for sharing this special oasis! We will certainly be recommending the house and hopefully returning ourselves. Hide

Gilly barn was fantastic. Big place really nice to stay there. Garden fantastic. Jackie and Tim. Where great hosts. Very friendly was lovely to chat to them. But they leave you alone if you want them to. But we liked getting to know them a little. As usual you take everything like washing up liquid etc but really no need all catered for. Had abundRead moreance of glasses , Cutlery, Pans etc. Loved the place, was really special. Location to all Cornwall like Falmouth. St Ives. Newquay and many many more within easy driving distance. Very great location then for the peace and quiet. Pubs near by . Fox and hounds good place to go up the road . St Agnes had great food as well. But loved using the aga at the barn as well. Really loved this place shame there is not a Giily barn where ever we go. Was fabulous. Please if you got 6 adults or large family please go there you will love it. Hide

Early spring stay, arrived to a roaring log fire set by the owner and free access to a large log store. The converted barn is large, beautifully equipped, decorated and furnished to a high standard and the attention to detail by the owners was impressive with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and welcome basket of local produce. Peaceful surrouRead morendings with an enclosed garden, ideal for young ones and dogs but quick access to countryside walks. The barn is well positioned to explore local and more distant sites and amenities: Truro, Falmouth, Coverack Lands End, Seal Sanctuary, Eden Project, National trust sites; to mention a few. A quick shout out to the owners who live a stones throw away. Always quick to respond to our questions and needs but respectful of our privacy. A small issue with the heating was quickly resolved as was our need for a child stair gate. The barn has a wonderful ambience, we cannot recommend it highly enough. Hide
