We loved being on the farm watching the cows and calves. I came with my 90 yr old mother and the accommodation worked really well for us. A spacious and comfortable cottage which was lovely and cool on hot days. We would consider returning.

The cottage is a good size with all amenities. Great that it has an accessible bathroom. Plenty of room for 6 people. The location is good for exploring from. However the cottage itself is situated down an incredibly bumpy lane, right next to a cow shed. The view from the garden is mainly of the cow shed. There is an amazing farm shop and cottages Read more5 mins down the road Trevathen Farm. I would definitely choose to stay there instead if I were to visit again. Hide

We had a great time. The cottage was just superb, and the host Carrie-Ann was very welcoming when we arrived. Robert and Jill were very nice, and anything we wanted we were just told to ask, but everything catered for all our needs. The farm dog is very friendly. Just be aware of the first 300 meters of an 800 meter country lane leading to the coRead morettage as the lane is very bumpy, other than that everything is local to where you are with great tourist attractions and plenty of shops and supermarkets in the neighbouring town named as Wadebridge. Ocean Blue cottage was set in a lovely location in the north Cornwall countryside. The cottage was well appointed with plenty of room for the family. The wet room was ideal for someone with restricted mobility. We found the owners and their family delightful to talk to, very friendly and helpful. The farm was situated close to St Endellion givingRead more easy access to the north Cornish beaches and coves. The nearest big town was Wadebridge, but the neighbouring farm ran a farm shop and restaurant which was handy for supplies. For EV drivers, there were rapid charging points at a garden centre just outside of Wadebridge. It is worth pointing out that the cottage is situated on a working dairy farm, so you do get to hear the working of the cattle, but this was not an intrusive sound. The only slightly negative point is that the first section of the access track does not belong to the farm and has not been well maintained, meaning a careful drive to avoid some large potholes. Lovely house, worked really well for our 4 adults and 2 dogs. Sensibly priced and fantastically well located if you wish to explore North Cornwall and maybe, further afield. We found the very active Farm and the farm families very lovely to interact with. All in all a little gem for us.
