Tucked away in the picturesque village of Pendeen on Cornwall’s rugged north coast, this charming cottage is a dreamy retreat for a solo escape or a romantic getaway. Set within the grounds of the Old Vicarage, this beautifully restored hideaway has high vaulted ceilings and a garden that feels wonderfully private, thanks to its unique castellated front wall.

Inside, a thoughtfully designed open-plan living space makes the most of every inch. Vaulted ceilings and original oak beams create a bright and airy feel, while the cosy furnishings and soft lighting ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere. After a day of adventure, curl up in front of the Smart TV or enjoy a leisurely meal at the intimate dining table for two. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a delicious dinner, and when it’s time to turn in, a cleverly designed pull-down double bed transforms the space into a restful sanctuary. Completing the layout is a sleek shower room featuring a refreshing rainfall shower. Outside, the private lawned garden provides a tranquil setting for morning coffee or an al fresco dinner under the stars. With seating for two, it’s the perfect spot to soak up the fresh sea air and peaceful surroundings. On-street parking is available directly outside, making your Cornish getaway an effortless breeze.

Step beyond the gates, and you''ll find a landscape rich in history and natural beauty, with Land''s End 10 miles away and the coastal gems of St Ives and St Michael''s Mount both within 11 miles. If you''re drawn to the sea, the South West Coast Path offers breathtaking walks along the Atlantic cliffs, while Portheras Cove (0.5 miles) invites you to dip your toes in the waves. Don’t miss the artistic haven of St Ives, 10 miles away, while theatre buffs can catch a show at the open-air clifftop Minack theatre (12 miles). For a glimpse into Cornwall’s mining past, the fascinating Geevor Tin Mine Museum is a half-mile walk from home.

Idyllic studio in the grounds of the old Rectory. Ideal for a single traveller although the pull down bed needs a bit of muscle power! Beautiful gardens to the rear and historic village hall to the front. The layout of the studio is really clever so although it is tiny, it works well and the bathroom is as big and as smart as any you will find. GrRead moreeat location for local attractions and spectacular beach within walking distance, also the village pub is perfect for drinks or meals. I didnt want to leave at the end of my holiday! Hide

The cottage is a bit small but nice. If all the things which we complaint are repaired it could be nice.
