A lovely, three-storey cottage at the heart of East Looe’s historic quarter, this tempting retreat is ideal for that south-east Cornwall seaside stay. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom hideaway could be perfect for a family with two children or for a couple on a romantic break. Set on a narrow street, it is not only well placed for an array of independent shops and eateries but is also within 150 metres of the golden sands of East Looe Beach and the famous Banjo Pier. Pick up the South West Coast Path here too and stride out towards Plaidy Beach, just over 0.5 miles away, where you can potter in rock pools. Visit the pretty village of Polruan, 10 miles away, where you can take the ferry over to fashionable Fowey, with its boutiques, galleries and restaurants serving fresh seafood. Plan a trip to the famous Eden Project, 22 miles away.
Step inside from the street to discover your new home from home. At ground-floor level, there is a welcoming lounge/diner, where you can sink back into soft sofas after your many explorations of your scenic surroundings. Head through to the kitchen to prepare delicious meals with the fresh produce you have bought in town on those occasions you decide not to dine out. Set the table for jolly holiday meals in the lounge/diner before whiling away the rest of your evening in front of the Smart TV. At the end of each exciting day, make your way up to the first floor to enjoy a superb night’s sleep in the inviting double bedroom. If you have children with you, they will love sleeping in the room on the floor above, where there are bunk beds. Awake to indulge in a refreshing dowse in the family shower room on the first floor.
This cottage has no outside space, but the fresh air and sunshine of the beach are nearby. Parking for the property is in a public car park within 500 metres, but you can stop outside to load and unload.
