This spacious and comfortable holiday home is ideally placed for a family or two couples looking to enjoy a wonderful holiday in beautiful Cornwall. Sleeping four guests, it is just 1 mile from shops, pubs and eateries in the village of St Merryn. When the weather calls for beach days, you’re spoiled for choice, with classic golden sands complete with rock pools, at family-friendly Constantine Bay, Trevone and Harlyn Bay (all within 2.5 miles). Charming Padstow (3.5 miles) has great character and a clutch of top-notch seafood restaurants. Take a boat trip from the picturesque harbour for a sea safari and enjoy a peaceful walk or bike ride along the Camel Trail. For all-round fun, St Eval Kart circuit (4.5 miles) is a must.

Light and airy, and with a lovely open aspect through the double doors, the lodge has a welcoming, home-from-home feel to it. There’s a handy utility area for sandy shoes and the lodge is attractively furnished in a contemporary style. Relax on comfortable seating in the open-plan living/dining space and watch the Smart TV, listen to music or enjoy a fun game of table football. There’s a good-sized dining table and a kitchen with all you need to rustle up tasty meals, using fresh local produce. After a day of sea air, sleep well in the two inviting bedrooms, one a king-size with an en-suite, and a twin. A sleek family shower room completes the layout.

Double doors open onto the large timber deck, with a table and chairs. Five steps down, you’ll find your own garden area with a lawn. This a lovely spot for outdoor drinks and meals. Children have their own outdoor play space, and you can brush up your sports skills on shared tennis courts and football pitches. Canine companions also have their own special exercise enclosure. There is private parking for two cars.
