Close to the beach and surrounded by scenic walks, this delightful holiday escape is a great choice for couples, friends or families. Within easy reach of North Cornwall’s many attractions, it has a sleek, modern ambience, and boasts an enclosed patio and plenty of parking.
Wood floors, pale walls and coordinated furnishings give this spacious getaway a real sense of style. Its bright and airy, open-plan ground floor includes a lounge/diner with a corner sofa and Smart TV – a superbly comfortable space in which to stretch out after a day outdoors. There are glazed doors to the patio and a dining table with space for everyone to enjoy a hearty meal together. Head over to the kitchen and you’ll find all the appliances you’ll need for preparing delicious treats, including an air fryer and a dishwasher. Head upstairs to find all three bedrooms: a double with an en-suite shower room, plus a king-size and single which share a beautiful family bathroom. When you feel like some fresh air, slide open the patio doors and spend time on the patio, where there’s furniture for morning coffees or meals in the sunshine. There’s also parking for three cars.
The small village of Delabole boasts a friendly pub, a supermarket and a fish and chip shop, and is famous for its slate quarry (the oldest in the world) where you can take a tour. The area is criss-crossed with scenic walks, and the wild and rugged beaches of Trebarwith and Tregardock are both within 3 miles. Fans of the TV show Doc Martin will want to visit Port Isaac, 5.5 miles away, a quintessential Cornish fishing village that’s also home to the (real-life) singing group, the Fisherman’s Friends. Meanwhile, the magnificent Tintagel Castle, home of Arthurian legends, is just 4.5 miles away.
