Treat yourself to a stay at this remarkable dwelling full of character and history, within a stately home. Situated in Camborne, a lovely Cornish town with a mining history and plenty of shops and cafés for convenience. There’s so much to do nearby, including exploring the 9 miles of pathways at the nearby Tehidy Country Park (2.5 miles), perfect for woodland walks and scenic views. The iconic Basset Monument (3 miles) and the dramatic North Cliffs also await wayfarers; also join the South West Coast Path (3 miles) and discover spots like Godrevy Point (6.5 miles), with it's seal cove and lighthouse views. This forms part of St Ives Bay where you will find 3 miles of golden sands along Hayle's beaches, recently voted the UK's best beach in The Times. For a day of art and culture, take a short drive to St Ives (13 miles) for galleries including the world-renowned Tate, quirky shops and eateries serving up Cornish cream teas and classics like fish and chips.

On arrival, pass through the shared entrance complete with a grandfather clock and huge ornate mirror, then step into your private first-floor accommodation via a light-filled hallway. Inside, be sure to take a moment to admire your surroundings, filled with interesting artwork and lighting, including a pretty rocking horse and doll's house. Relax in the open-plan kitchen and dining area, complete with a large dining table where your group can gather for meals. The elegant kitchen boasts granite worktops and a range cooker to inspire your inner chef. A bathroom with a shower and WC is located just off the kitchen. After days out by the sea, relax in the spacious lounge, with its corner sofa and double-aspect views of the lush gardens. For sleeping, there’s a double bedroom with charming Regency-style features, and a king-size bedroom just off the kitchen with an en-suite shower room and WC.

Whilst there’s no private garden, you’ll have 6 acres of gardens to explore for pre-breakfast or post dinner walks. There are various fabulous trees and plants blooming throughout the warmer months to give an enchanted and relaxing atmosphere, cocooned within the estate grounds. There is allocated parking in the main gravel car park to the side of the house for two cars.
