This tiny gem provides a snug and restful base for your holiday adventures with its bright and breezy whitewashed interiors welcoming you home after a day of discovery. Take a stroll down to the picturesque harbour, where you can enjoy the boats coming and going, grab some local seafood, or hop on a ferry to Rock, just across the water. One of Cornwall's most popular cycle paths, the 18-mile Camel Trail, follows the scenic Camel River. You can hire bikes in Padstow and cycle to Wadebridge (5.5 miles) or continue all the way to Bodmin (14 miles). For a day at the seaside, Trevone is a lovely beach ideal for families, with a mix of golden sand and rock pools for exploring. Further afield, Tintagel Castle (20 miles) offers a day of legend and history. Said to be the birthplace of King Arthur, the cliffside ruins and stunning views are well worth the journey.
