This lovely apartment was even better than expected. Immaculately clean everywhere. Well equipped kitchen and the entire accommodation had obviously been carefully planned for comfort but also interest. Lovely features made of the building itself. The fact it overlooked the wonderful busy, working harbour was a bonus. Noisy but always ships, boatsRead more arriving and departing, so fascinating. I often breakfasted down on the rocks near Jubilee Pool, taking my own meal with me. Near to everything practical if needed. But great area for travelling too. A lot of stairs but in my favour as maintaining my fitness! Especially when I may had forgotten an item. The landlord very pleasant to speak to and accommodating. I even extended my stay another week I loved it so much and will return at the earliest opportunity. I brought my bicycle as well easy to keep on the car,I was out every day. Highly recommended. Its our second year/time staying here and the appartment was as clean and newly decorated as last year. The location is excellent and is convenient to access public transport in the area. Parking provision is excellent.The stairs are a little steep and narrow so may not suit everyone.

Lizard Loft is bright and spacious and conveniently located for restaurants, shops, the Jubilee Pool etc in Penzance and for visiting lovely beaches and gardens in the area. However the description of it as "a romantic coastal getaway and ...effortlessly peaceful .. with the sound of the sea ..lulling you to sleep" is very far from our experience oRead moref a noisy, not very comfortable flat very close to a constantly busy road and with building sites at front and back. We were glad of the ceiling fan as we had to keep the windows closed to reduce the level of noise. We would never have chosen such a location and the description is so false that we would not consider booking with this company again as we would not trust their descriptions of their accommodations. A lovely clean, modern flat in a prime location in a charming town in a beautiful part of the country with views to St Michael's Mount! The town's amenities are within a short walk (up a steep hill) and there are several good eating places within 5 minutes walk (without the hill). The owner is very friendly and responsive. A beautifully appointed loft. Tastefully decorated. Large windows giving a light and airy view across the working harbour across to St Michael's Mount. Clean and well stocked kitchen.
