This stylish holiday home is in the traditional Cornish town of St Austell, 2 miles from the south coast. Sleeping eight guests and with a sociable, open-plan layout, it’s the perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. You’ll be within easy reach of some of Cornwall’s top visitor attractions, including The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (both within 7 miles). You can also enjoy day trips to Charlestown (2 miles) and Fowey (9 miles).

At the heart of the home is a gorgeous lounge/kitchen/diner with chic furniture and a colour palette to reflect the coastal landscape. The room is bathed in natural light, thanks to the statement roof lantern overhead. Whip up delicious feasts for the group in the elegant kitchen area, to share at the breakfast bar or at the formal dining table. After dinner, unwind in the comfortable lounge area. Alternatively, while away the evening in the games room or relax in the snug with a good book. This room has a sofa bed that can accommodate a further guest (or two children) if required. Completing the ground floor is a refreshing shower room and a handy utility room. The four inviting bedrooms are upstairs, all with their own, unique colour scheme and decor. Outside, the enclosed garden has a choice of areas for relaxing in the sunshine. Dine alfresco on the terrace, or wander down the steps to the lawn to play outdoor games or share a picnic. Further steps lead to an additional seating area with a BBQ. The property has private parking for three cars.

St Austell is one of Cornwall’s largest towns, and has a bustling high street and a good range of pubs and restaurants. Take a tour of St Austell Brewery within the town or, just outside St Austell, you can learn about the China clay industry at Wheal Martyn Museum. St Austell is 2 miles from the beautiful beaches of Cornwall’s south coast, highlights of which include Carlyon Bay and Porthpean Beach.

We enjoyed a lovely clean and very well equipped house. Good location for travelling to various places. Pleasant aspect from decking. The enclosed garden is great for kids and small dogs but when we visited, if your dog can jump a 3 foot wall this garden is not secure.
