This coastal bolthole for two enjoys an elevated position overlooking Porthgwidden, on the outskirts of St Ives. The property is just 150 metres from a sheltered, sandy beach with colourful beach huts and a charming beachside cafe. You can also enjoy walks directly from the cottage around the headland known as ‘The Island’. A short, 0.5-mile jaunt brings you to the bustling town centre, with its cobbled streets, quaint shops, and independent eateries. The town also has a fantastic array of galleries and studios to peruse, including The Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. Day trips from the property include The Minack Theatre (20 miles) and St Michael’s Mount (9 miles).

Enter the holiday home through the pretty, terraced garden. Kick off sandy shoes in the porch and head through to the bright and inviting lounge/diner. Decorated in a delicate, coastal theme, this is the perfect place to unwind with your favourite book or a film on the Smart TV after a day at the beach. There is also a cute dining table for sharing romantic dinners for two. Just off the lounge/diner is a compact, galley-style kitchen that has been carefully designed to include all the essentials for a self-catering holiday. Completing the ground floor is a contemporary shower room. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to the relaxing king-size bedroom nestled in the eaves (please note this room has sloping ceilings and you may experience restricted head height in some areas.) The bedroom has a sweet vanity area for getting ready, ample storage for all your holiday attire, and a handy en-suite WC.

Outside, soak up the sea air and coastal views in the sunny, patio garden, where you’ll find bench seating and a bistro set. This area is fully enclosed, making it a great space for four-pawed guests.

Lovely place to stay in , very comfortable had everything we needed with parking outside our door . We would stay here again.

Great property, amazing location with two beaches a stones throw away. The harbour is a further 5 minutes walk and with a parking space included, this is the ideal base for exploring St Ives. We loved the sea views from the lounge and the property was very clean through out, we will return.

Lovely find. Definitely more than an apartment. More a one bedroom house. Parking fine. A bit tight. But we have a big car. But ample. The property is very bright and airy. 3 good windows in the lounge. So the views are very nice the decor is good. Bed very comfortable. . Outside space is an added bonus Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location with parking for medium size vehicle. We were not expecting the view from the room either. Lovely surprise to see the beach from the living room window while having a cuppa. Relaxing and comfy place. Dog treats and poop bags available. Clean and no evidence of previous dogs thanks to the great cleaning team. Very good value for monRead moreey. Hide

Nice comfortable property, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. In a good location, short walk down in to town and close to beaches, with excellent restaurants on the beach. Parking a bit tight but large car park in close proximity.
