This delightful cottage is in the village of Tredrizzick, 2 miles from Cornwall’s north coast. The property sleeps six guests and suits both families and groups of friends looking to explore the pretty towns and villages along this rugged stretch of coastline. The foodie town of Padstow is 13 miles away and Port Isaac is 6 miles away. You’ll also be just 2 miles from the surfing hotspot of Polzeath.

Step through the front door of this traditional Cornish cottage and into the warm and inviting lounge. This cosy spot has a warming wood burner for chilly nights and an array of comfortable seating, including an enticing window seat, to relax on after a long coastal walk. Spend time here, under the characterful beamed ceiling, reading a book or watching the Smart TV. From here, move through to the country cottage-style kitchen/diner, with its pastel-coloured units and floral fabrics. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break, and there is a dining table for sharing mealtimes together. Upstairs, three charming bedrooms await, along with the spacious family bathroom. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed patio garden with furniture for al fresco dining.

The upmarket resort of Rock is just 2 miles away and has a good range of independent pubs and restaurants. The village has a long, sandy beach and is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. From Rock, hop on the foot ferry to cross the estuary to Padstow, where you can potter around the boutiques and galleries and refuel in one of the cute cafes. The traditional fishing village of Port Isaac also makes a lovely day out, with its whitewashed cottages, winding streets, and picturesque harbour.
