This secluded lodge enjoys a peaceful location in North Cornwall, 7.5 miles from Padstow. The holiday home sleeps four guests and suits both couples and small families. From the property, enjoy woodland walks and a spot of fishing within the grounds, or visit the neighbouring Cornish Birds of Prey Centre. The lodge is also perfectly placed for day trips to Newquay (9.5 miles) and Port Isaac (14.5 miles).
The timber eco lodge sits within an exclusive, gated site. Inside, the single-storey property is decorated in a contemporary style and has a sociable, open-plan layout. The main living space is a bright and airy lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can create tasty dishes in the sleek kitchen area and gather for mealtimes at the stylish dining table. The cosy lounge area has a roaring wood burner and a Smart TV for enjoying movie nights together. In summer months, throw open the French doors to the veranda to let the outside in. The lodge has two inviting bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, sip a sundowner on the enclosed, decked veranda. There is also a small lawn area, and guests are welcome to explore the grounds, including the coarse fishing lake (licence required).
Head into Padstow to wander around the picturesque harbour, potter around the quaint gift shops and galleries, and dine in one of the many independent restaurants. The South West Coast Path passes through the town, offering fantastic walking opportunities, and you can also join the popular Camel Trail cycle route. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful beaches, with Polzeath, Watergate Bay, and Harlyn Bay all within 15 miles. Nearby days out include the Eden Project (13.5 miles) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (18.5 miles).
