A 19th-century cottage in a charming village close to the west Cornwall coast, the perfect base for an active family holiday surrounded by impressive beaches, historical sites and popular seaside towns. The cottage boasts a wealth of period features and offers a comfortable lounge, a large country-style kitchen and an inviting patio garden.

The interior of this two-storey cottage is a blend of the traditional and the contemporary, with exposed stone walls and roof beams beautifully complementing stylish soft furnishings neatly arranged across hard flooring. The lounge''s comfortable sofas are arranged around a wood burner at the far-end. The dining room has a large table surrounded by exposed stone walls and it''s only a few steps into the country-style kitchen, complete with ample work surface space under exposed beams. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom has ample storage space and sea views, while the neighbouring twin bedroom and single bedroom are naturally lit and offer plenty of room for belongings. The enclosed patio garden outside is a private space with inviting seating and a BBQ. A utility room is also available nearby.

The former mining village of Pendeen is steeped in history and offers a range of amenities within 500 metres. There are numerous reminders of the area''s past along the Tin Coast, including Levant Mine (1 mile). The cottage is within 1 mile of the South West Coast Path - the perfect setting to explore rugged shorelines. Trengwainton Garden (6 miles) offers 25 attractive acres, while the natural and cultural wonders of St Ives (11 miles) are worth the journey alone.

A clean and comfortable terraced cottage with good facilities. The front garden is on the main coastal road but the cottage is set back and well insulated so we heard no traffic. Sea view from the back and just a 15 minute walk from the coast. The kitchen / dining area has low ceilings so watch your head if youre tall! Pendeen Watch is a beautifully appointed and well equipped cottage. Back patio area has gorgeous sea view. All the kit you may require from coffee machine, air fryer, dishwasher to washing machine and dryer. Little touches like the laundry basket and shower mat were appreciated. Great kitchen, comfortable lounge and upstairs is so light and airy. TRead morehe extra starter basics were provided washing up liquid, teabags, coffee, sugar, tin foil, clingfilm - all of which make landing there so much easier. We liked the eco-friendly approach to all elements of cottage management from air heat pump central heating to waste recycling. The automatic lights were excellent pointing the way down the path to and over the front door like the Billie Jean video - made us feel safe and thought about as clients. Keysafes are always a winner. Then finally the welcome card, fresh milk and a bottle of wine - just, thank you! Hide
