I would not say this is dog friendly the spiral staricase and my cocker spaniel was slightly worrying as they approach everything at 100 miles an hour The location was excellent and the cottage had everything we needed but as the outside opens straight onto a road so again i'm not sure dog friendly I would certainly not use this cottage if i wasRead more with children under 10 Hide

Lovely cottage on the Camel Trail. Has 2 bedrooms but we were staying as a couple so had no reason to use the bedroom upstairs. Not sure whether it would be suitable for young families as bedrooms were quite far from each other and you had to use a spiral staircase to get between floors. We loved it though and would happily stay there again. It wasRead more clean and smelt fresh, had enough in the kitchen to suit our needs, WiFi was fine. Loved the access to the Camel Trail, we ran every day and wandered in to Padstow. To get anywhere other than Padstow you would need a to have a car and be happy to navigate those narrow Cornish roads (but thats what makes it part of the fun!). A great place to stay to explore what North Cornwall has to offer! Hide

Excellent stay in quiet warm and cosy cottage. Handy for Camel Trail where we walked from the cottage to Padstow eateries in the evening. Cosiness was needed especially as we drove to the coast in a snowstorm one morning, rest of the day was sunny.

The location was excellent on the camel trail and very convenient for Padstow. However the cleanliness of the bedrooms was very poor, and let down the rest of the property.

We had a week in Trailside in September - it suited us really well. We cycled and walked the Camel Trail - the cottage is really convenient for this. And for all the other Padstow area attractions. Having the shower room downstairs works well - when you come back from the beach, you can shower your sandy feet straight away. The bed is comfortabRead morele, and the living space is well laid out. It is an excellent cottage either as a base or if you just wish to stay there. Unfortunately a car is necessary, its a long way from anywhere if you run out of milk.

Trailside is a cosy cottage sleeping 4 just off the camel trail. Its in a great location for a 2 mile stroll or bike ride into Padstow, or a longer trek in the other direction to Wadebridge. A nice touch was to be left some Cornish team, coffee and biscuits. The cottage has a spiral stair case and you definitely have to mind your head wheRead moren entering the hobbit sized door into the loft bedroom. If you are an adult, using the upstairs toilet standing up is challenging due to the low ceiling. Even with good lighting and reminders be prepared to bump your head :) So you will need to keep a close eye on small children and I would not recommend it for anyone less mobile. Generally its well kitted out with a respectable Kitchen and downstairs bathroom but some of the fixtures and fittings are a bit tired. Lack of tumble dryer is probably less of an issue in summer months. Hide
