The house is beautifully presented and extremely clean. We were impressed with how well-equipped the property was - it had everything we could have needed. We had a fantastic stay as large family (8 of us, 4 couples). Due to the layout of the property, it felt like we all had our own space which was perfect as well as the fantastically throughtout Read more'communal' areas. It is in an ideal location for local amenities - we went to the Dog House for pizza (we would highly recommend). We also went to the Ivy House (again we would strongly recommend). You are in walking distance/short drive to Treyarnon beach, which is ideal for bodyboarding and watching the sunsets - there is also a Youth Hostel here which serves food and drink. You are a short drive away from Padstow too! We thought the house was in an excellent location. The only negatives (if you can call them that) is that the front bedroom is described as being a double bed and we felt it was more of a 3/4 size bed - this made it rather snug for the couple in that room. There was also a slight issue with the Wi-Fi which meant we couldn't watch TV in the bedrooms, but I imagine that is easily fixable and shouldn't deter people from staying. We would highly recommend this property though and would definitely rebook in the future. Hide

We had a brilliant stay at Tamar over the early May bank holiday weekend. We had never stayed in St Merryn before but would highly recommend both the property and the location. Pubs, wine bars, shops within walking distance of the house. Gorgeous beaches easily drivable, in both directions. Harlyn Bay is walkable as well across fields and a few roaRead moreds. The house was gorgeous with so much space for our group. Lovely bathrooms, large bedrooms and comfortable beds, large closets/storage for all our gear. Perfectly sized kitchen diner, and awesome lounge with air hockey table and PS5 (which was a big hit with the three boys we had with us). Very well equipped with everything you need for cooking. I can't fault the property, 5 out of 5 stars. We will definitely look to stay there again for a weekend getaway. Hide
