The property was easy to find and access. Inside it was lovely, bright and clean and having the option of twin or double rooms was just what we needed. It was also a great layout for us as we really wanted somewhere with a downstairs bedroom and bathroom too. The property had everything we needed for our stay and had no issues at all whilst there.Read more Location of the property was good and a nice 20min walk down to Mawgan Porth. Mowgan Porth is a beautiful bay, has a nice pub, couple of other places to eat and shops. If driving such a convenient location as close to many nice places to visit, you are however driving down narrow country lanes to get to and from the house, although generally not a problem as fairly quiet roads. The lodge was perfect for our party of 7 including 1 dog. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It had everything we needed and we were able to cook a Christmas lunch for 7 with ease. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were spotless, as were the towels. The owner made up the rooms - twin or superking beds - tRead moreo made specific needs without any issue at all despite me requesting this only a few days before arrival. The location was perfect and, as advertised, a picturesque 20 minute walk to the Mawgan Porth beach along a footpath,or a 5 minute drive along the lane. In wet weather wellies are needed as it can be muddy. You can also walk along the lanes, which took about 30 minutes. However, beware the lanes are narrow so care is needed when cars pass. There was a small.play area which included swings in front of the lodges, and a stream which is easy to access with a rope swing. Mawgan Porth itself is a beautiful bay with a fabulous pub, small convenience store, some restaurants and a great beach food hut. I would highly recommend this property and intend to return. Hide

Lovely, clean and welcoming house. The owner has done a great job. Great fishing lake on site. There are three houses on the site but the way they have been built make the house area quite private. Parking close to the house. There are building works going on as you enter through the gate but this wasn't an issue at all. It wasn't noisy at all. TreRead morevor, the owner, was very helpful and easily contactable if there were any issues. Our issue was the lid on the bin in the kitchen area wouldn't close! Trevor ordered a new bin and it was delivered next day. Great service. Hide

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Very quiet and in a secluded area. 30 minutes or so walk to the beach. Property was immaculate and modern. Building equipment inside the entrance to the site of 3 properties spoils the initial impression however you can't fault it once inside
