For a group holiday by the seaside, it’s hard to beat this chic holiday home that enjoys direct beach access (100 metres). It’s in a lovely, secluded location along a private beachfront road, for plenty of peace and quiet during your stay. The property is located in the quiet coastal village of Downderry, with a pub, shop and restaurant within 300 metres. It’s got space for up to eleven guests, making it ideal for celebrations among family or friends.
This dreamy beachfront retreat has a welcoming atmosphere, with light-coloured walls and plenty of natural materials. You’ll spend much of your time in the spacious open-plan living area, which has large windows so you can absorb those views while you relax on one of the sofas or eating at the table. A wood burner will ensure you all stay toasty during the chillier months. There’s also a separate sunroom with additional seating and garden views. In the glossy kitchen, you’ll have a marble-style work surface and a breakfast bar for snacking and coffee drinking. At night, choose from four king-size bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms, and a welcoming bunk bedroom. A well-appointed family bathroom completes the interior. Outside, unwind on the large lawn with a gate and steps that lead to the beach. Outdoor furniture, a gas BBQ and garden games should keep everyone entertained, while a games room/summer house with an additional fridge and table football gives you more options for family fun.
As well as the beach at Downderry, Seaton Beach (1 mile) is fantastic for enjoying the views and sea air – at low tide, you can walk all the way there along the beach. For day trips, the fishing villages of Looe (5 miles), Polperro, Kingsands and Cawsands (all within 10 miles) are great options.
