Brimming with character and charm, this traditional wooden house is located in a peaceful spot alongside the flowing River Inney, making it a true delight to visit. The wood theme continues inside, where elegant ceiling beams and sturdy furniture create a homely vibe. Relax as a group in the open-plan living area, equipped with a Smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy lounge area. When nighttime beckons, choose from a sumptuous double bedroom and two cosy twins, served by a well-appointed bathroom and wet room. Outside, in fine weather, look forward to moments of tea and tranquillity on the serene patio, which overlooks the river.

You’ll have a pub and shop within 2 miles and plenty of natural sites to check out nearby, such as Saint Nectan's Glen (6.5 miles) where a 1-mile walk along ancient woodland leads to a stunning waterfall. Boscastle (5.5 miles) a small port with a medieval harbour, is filled with white-washed cottages and a few thatched houses for you to admire. Tintagel (7.5 miles) and Port Isaac (13 miles) are both excellent options for an afternoon out, along with several National Trust properties nearby and the Launceston Steam Railway (13 miles).

We loved our stay. We arrived a few days later than planned due to a family problem. Terrence was lovely and stayed in touch with kindness and concern until we eventually made it there. The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Our dog was well catered for with a dedicated bowl and towels provided. A cream tea and pint of milk awaited uRead mores in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend Hide

It was warm very well equipped and clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending to friends, or indeed booking again for next year

We had a great week away. The beds were really comfortable and the cottage well- equipped. A lovely peaceful setting. Tennis court was great for evening activities and had good availability. Location good for exploring North Cornwall. Highly recommend Bossiney Cove - well worth the steep walk!

Rosie's Retreat is a beautiful lodge in the Inny Vale holiday village which was quiet and very well kept, with a stream running behind. Being dog friendly accommodation was particularly important to us and we were delighted that there were welcome packs for us And the dog including blankets and towels, dog bowls and a big packet of treats! Ours incRead moreluded a large caddy of tea bags ( very important!) milk and scones, jam and cream ready for an afternoon cream tea! The table was beautifully laid and there was atmospheric music playing on our arrival! The Lodge is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, microwave and toaster. There is a lovely wet room downstairs and a bathroom and bath with shower over upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms are beautifully light and airy with velux windows, plenty of storage and all the beds are very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful holiday - thank you for providing such excellent accommodation! Hide

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Rosie's Retreat. It was a lovely spot to spend time in - we did so for a nearby wedding, and it was a great place to return to. We would absolutely return if we were in the area.
