The former studio of British painter Denys Law, this airy coastal studio boasts a prime location just 500 metres from Lamorna Cove Beach. This compact hideaway is a wonderful retreat for couples or solo travellers seeking an escape by the sea. Step outside and fill your lungs with fresh ocean air as you trek along the scenic South West Coast Path, before returning home to graze through a snack board on the raised patio terrace.

This compact property features an inviting interior with vaulted ceilings and contemporary design touches throughout. Slip off sandy shoes at the door then step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Stock up the sleek kitchen cabinets with a range of locally sourced goodies, then flick on the kettle and unwind with a post-adventure brew. Settle into the intimate dining space for a well-earned supper. With a sweet treat in hand, step up into the lounge and cosy up in front of the electric fire to watch a film on the Smart TV. When the evening draws in, rest up in the stylish king-size bedroom with an elegant en-suite shower room. Outdoors, sip your morning coffee from the picnic bench on the terrace or stargaze beneath the twinkling Cornish sky.

The studio is clean and welcoming, if a little lacking in natural light. As mentioned in previous reviews neither the bed or bedroom are king size, but there is sufficient storage space. The location is great for walkers, the coastal path is just down the lane and the bus stop for the lands end coaster open top bus is a ten minute walk. In the otheRead morer direction. Lots of nice pubs locally, though we found the local pub rather unwelcoming. Hide

We had a lovely week in Lamorna and the surrounding area. The studio is comfortable enough for two people.

Lamorna is a gorgeous little place, very secluded nestled in the trees which makes the cottage a little dark, the cottage itself was very comfortable and we had all we needed for our stay, we had a lovely welcome gift on arrival, some fresh flowers in the vase and a tea tray made up with some lovely Cornish biscuits

Fantastic location for a peaceful break and only a short walk down to the actual shoreline. Plenty of walks to do without having to use the car. The Studio, whilst compact, offers everything you could need, although found the discription of kingsize bedroom misleading as this would normally refer to the bed itself, which was only a double. Great Read moreto have own parking space, but quite an art to reverse in as it's quite a tight squeeze Hide
