Location - ok, down a short hill to the Fire Engine pub (nice) Close to the beaches - Marazion, short drive to Gwithian and Godrevy. It's in a rather uninspiring part of the town especially if the weather isn't good. Comfortable - yes Clean - v good Rather dated furnishings Well equipped - yes Back patio - small, dull This is the biggest isRead moresue - dogs are allowed but not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. This had a big impact on the holiday for us. it should be on the website of all the properties that allow dogs. We are always careful, take our own covers etc. We have stayed in nicer properties where 1 bedroom is allocated for dogs to stay in and lots of sofa covers are provided. IT NEEDS TO BE ON THE WEBSITE - I would never have booked this property if I had known. It was ok, not specially good value for money. I wont rate on TP as it would not be a specially good review Hide

The cottage is very well equipped and was very warm and snug for winter use as it was very cold over Christmas when we stayed. The cottage is set on a hill, I imagine it is difficult if you have issues with walking. There is plenty of parking at the bottom by the sea. It was a short walk into Marazion with bars and places to eat. You could walk milRead morees along the beach and you have St. Michaels Mount to visit (in season). Hide

We had a very nice stay in this comfortable cottage. Its only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach and five minutes to the pub. Its right next to a country lane which goes on for miles so if you like long walks its ideal. All in all a pleasant stay.

A proper home from home feel with everything you could wish for. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, lovely kitchen, big living/dining room, utility room, conservatory and a drive to park your car. A nice quiet location at the edge of Marazion with a lovely 15 minute stroll through the village down to the beach. We would definitely stay here again and hRead moreighly recommend to friends and family. Hide

The property had everything we needed for a weeks holiday in Cornwall. The location is great for a short walk to the beach, although we didn't stay much in Marazion as there wasn't a huge amount to do there, but we enjoyed travelling elsewhere during the day then making the most of the quiet beach in the evening to have a BBQ in the sunset. TheRead more property was mostly clean and well presented but did need a clean of the hob and pans before being used due to thick grease. Apart from that, it's lovely. Parking can be a bit of a pain, especially when someone parks behind the drive which can be a struggle for larger SUV type of vehicles to get on and off the drive. All in all, had a wonderful time. On the whole a nice little house, no headboards on the beds was a little strange, but I guess it's the modern way. The downstairs shower is quite weak, so it's better upstairs but it's over the bath. The owners have thought of everything, there was a heated drying rail for your washing, and a standard rail, the kitchen was well equipped, even disRead morehwasher tablets had been left. Hide
