You’ll be perfectly placed for exploring the rugged north coast, with nearby highlights including Boscastle, Clovelly, and Hartland (all within 20 miles). The welcoming retreat has an authentic, rustic charm about it, with bespoke, hand-crafted furniture and an eclectic mix of soft furnishings and accessories. The property is arranged across three levels, with a king-size bedroom and a stylish shower room on the ground floor and a twin bedroom on the top floor. Alternatively, if it’s peace and tranquillity you’re after, head to the 2-mile stretch of golden sand at Widemouth Bay: even in the height of summer it’s easy to escape the crowds on this vast beach. Heading inland, Dartmoor National Park is within touring distance (just under 30 miles), where you’ll find hidden beauty spots and remote walking trails in abundance.
