This cosy cottage located in a charming village is ideal for a couple or family looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway with activities such as surfing and water sports nearby. St Minver is two miles from beautiful Polzeath Beach, one of the UK’s top surfing spots. Whether you are a nature lover, a history buff, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, St Minver has something for everyone. Rock Beach is 3 miles down the road, and you can enjoy the glorious long stretch of sand and even hop on a passenger ferry to Padstow.

This welcoming property, set over two floors, is full of character with exposed wooden beams, low beams, stone fireplaces, and a cottage style blended seamlessly with contemporary comforts. The lounge invites you in with the welcoming wood burner taking centre stage. The comfortable sofa is ready for you to relax together and enjoy watching a movie on the Smart TV. Walk up a small step into the kitchen/diner with a picnic bench and everything you need to rustle up some tasty treats. Head upstairs to find a double bedroom. Through a secret door, there is a second small bedroom with bunk beds more suited to children. A contemporary family shower room completes the features of this delightful cottage. Outside, slate steps lead up to a private patio area with a table and chairs to enjoy drinks alfresco.

If you want to discover more about the local culture and history of the Arthurian legends, then Tintagel Castle (12 miles) is a must-visit. Fishing is at the heart of the culture of many villages and nearby is picturesque Padstow (13 miles), famous for its seafood restaurants. Walkers and cyclists will love the Camel Trail (4.5 miles) with miles of flat cycle paths and walking opportunities along a disused railway, and hikers can enjoy the exhilarating walks on Bodmin Moor (20 miles).
