Exciting days out including the Screech Owl Sanctuary (6 miles), Camel Creek Family Theme Park (4 miles) and The Japanese Garden (5 miles) are all just a drive away, as is the lively surfer’s hub of Newquay (10.5 miles) with its zoo, aquarium and multiple sandy beaches. Closer to home is Magwan Porth (7.5 miles), a picture-perfect Cornish village with an undisturbed stretch of sandy beach.
