There was absolutely no privacy. It was like a fish bowl. There was a couple of teenagers (girls) walking past regularly from the main house to the pool/snooker room and back. There was a big dog jumping on the fence and barking. This dog could easily have cleared that fence and I was nervous. I stopped using the hot tub because I couldn't be sure Read moreit wouldn't jump over and then come at me while I was vulnerable. It's also not very relaxing when you can hear a dog barking and the other guests talking. First I had to ask for the wifi password, then I discovered there was no hairdryer. I was provided with one when I asked but it was like I was depriving someone else. No smiles or apologies. "Here you can use this one." After that I didn't ask for anything else. There were lots of pots and pans but no dinner plates or forks. I was a little concerned that there hadn't been a list of contents to check off. The owners were away, so perhaps my experience would have been better had they been there. The other cottage had the ideal set up. Full privacy. The one I was in was a few meters outside the back door of the main house and the hot tub was in full view. On a happier note the cottage was lovely and very clean. Hide
