One of the best and cleanest properties we have stayed in. A great central area for touring Cornwall. The house has everthing you need, a true home from home. The log fire was great at the end of a days adventuring. We will certainly be looking at booking again.

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped house. We had everything we needed for our 4 night stay with our 2 dogs-including good weather! Would recommend to anyone coming to this part of Cornwall. On our last night we ate at the Polgooth Inn as a family with young children and dogs. We had a warm welcome, friendly service and great food.

The house is lovely with great dcor. The themes blend in well and the kitchen is well equipped. The house is very clean and still has that new build feel. We stayed here, 2 children and 3 adults and loads of space. The soundproofing with the glass doors is good. The location is an excellent jumping off point, very close to a number of National TrusRead moret and beaches. Thank you. Places worth visiting- Flambards - if you have children or like a theme park - note free returns as much as you like for 7 days. Calyon Bay- stoney beach good for sheds and local swim. Polmear - stoney beach with some sand good for shells, not easy access and very small car park. Lost Garden of Heligan- Brilliant loads of great walks, recommend annual pass as save money after two visits. Farm shop there good and restaurant great. Mevagissey- use first carpark for all day parking 7. You can pay 5 and top up if needed. Post 2pm use next carpark as 2 is till next day. The first carpark is Willow carpark. The next one round the town is River Street. The Teacup tearoom is excellent, best scones and cream tea. No booking and very small. Looe- Great beach and lovely town. Best fish and chips EVER is in Ben Plaice. It's out of the town, but worth the drive and has parking. Gylly Beach - The beach caf is great, parking cheap 4 or 5 for whole day. Park next to the beach if you arrive early otherwise by field next door. Falmouth - Great town can spend a good day wondering. We went to Fuel which have lovely staff and great food. Fowey - Kittows has a great selection or cheese and BBQ food. Brown Sugar does great food using Kittows products. Ruby's Ice Cream, the milkshakes are amazing. St Austell Brewery - Has the Hicks Bar, but also a shop selling local beers and wines cheaper. Worth a visit. Ozzell Bowl - small 8 lane 10 pin bowling, with slots 2p/10p machines and soft play. Charles Town - great place to eat of an evening, worth looking for events on The Lady Daphne, great music. Lanhydrock - great day out and excellent visitors attraction in the house. Long walk to the house, you can hire bikes there for off roading. Truro - great historic town with lovely Cathedral. Avoid the 10 pin bowling. Edies - Amazing local family friendly restaurant. Hide
