Situated just outside the vibrant market town of Penzance, this beautifully furnished home is a great getaway for couples, friends and small families. After a day on the beach you can enjoy the shared facilities of the holiday park, whether a game of tennis or a drink in the bar.
This ground-floor retreat is smartly decorated with a stylish choice of furnishings, some with a coastal touch. The L-shaped lounge/kitchen/diner is comfortable and inviting, with beautiful flooring and a painted tongue-and-groove wall detail. After cooking tasty meals in the pretty kitchen there’s a dining table and chairs where you can enjoy your food before relaxing on the sofa and catching up on the day’s events. If you feel like a movie or catching up on a favourite show, there’s a Smart TV, too. At bedtime, head to the lovely double and twin bedrooms (the latter can be king-size on request), with their calm colour schemes. They share a charming shower room. To the back of the bungalow is a lawned area with a picnic bench - a quiet spot for an alfresco meal or drink on warmer days.
The cosy bungalow is set within the grounds of the 400-year-old Kenegie Manor, which offers shared facilities including an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, shop and bar/eatery. The beach at Long Rock is just 2 miles away, or you could venture to Marazion, 3.5 miles, where the golden sands are also the starting point for a visit to the magical St Michael’s Mount. The market town of Penzance is only 1.5 miles away, for a great choice of shops, pubs and places to eat, plus a cinema and an Art Deco lido. And don’t miss the hidden gem of Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, just 1 mile away.
