This light, airy, reverse-level apartment, located between the golden sands of Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches in St Ives, is perfect for a family looking for a relaxing holiday close to the beaches of the Cornish coast. Porthmeor with its sandy beach and surf school, is less than 400 metres walk away, so water sports enthusiasts and sandcastle builders will both be happy.

The entrance to this welcoming property is via two flights of external steps from the courtyard. The light decor and blue coastal theme create an inviting and calming ambience in which to unwind from your day-to-day concerns. The front door leads to an area that is effectively the first floor, with a kitchen and a generous-sized living/dining area with two sofas, a Smart TV and a dining table. The kitchen has all you need to rustle up some delicious treats. Downstairs on the ground floor is a shower room, a double bedroom with a TV and a room with two single beds and a TV. There is no garden area, but Porthmeor Beach or Porthgwidden Beach, both less than 500 metres away, offer options for a stroll at any time.

St Ives is one of Cornwall’s top destinations and a beautiful seaside town where visitors can enjoy a traditional beach holiday while taking in the stunning scenery and distinct quality of light – artists flocked here to paint - and Tate St Ives is less than 400 metres away. Walkers will love the beautiful countryside and the walks at Clodgy Point (1 mile) or Trencrom Hill (5.5 miles) both offer stunning views. Paradise Park and Jungle Farm (6 miles) is a great family day out, with a handy indoor play area for rainy days. If you love being on the sea, take a boat trip from St Ives to Seal Island and the iconic Godrevey Lighthouse.

Apartment is in a good location next to Porthmeor beach and Porthgwidden beach. Well equipped.

Rug in living room covered in dog hair and made for tripping hazard. Stayed in other pet friendly properties that have been much cleaner. Sand left on bathroom floor, also needs non slip mat for shower. Drawers in bedroom need proper clean, sand and hair from previous occupants. Hostile residents living in complex made for unwelcoming stay.

Location to the beach was great, liked the style, layout and feel of St Nicholas court and the maisonette itself was well layed-out, secure, quiet and well equipped with a lovely shower room, nicely decorated with comfy beds and furnishings

Nice slick website when looking for somewhere to stay, easy booking, really good communication too. Whilst I felt the property was a good place to stay, the only negative is the problem with damp and specifically the damp smell which needs sorting out.
