Escape to the coast in this elegant holiday home in St Ives. The maisonette sleeps four guests and makes a delightful couples’ retreat or base for a small family. The property is right in the heart of St Ives, giving you easy access to the town’s finest pubs and restaurants, as well as its white, sandy beaches. The South West Coast Path passes through the town, and the stretch towards Zennor is considered one of the most spectacular of the whole trail.

Granite steps lead to the townhouse and the maisonette, reached via a flight of stairs, encompasses its first and second floors. Large windows, framing sea views, flood the rooms with light and the decor reflects the coastal landscape. The open-plan lounge/diner is a wonderfully sociable space, with a choice of seats to take in the scenery or watch the Smart TV, and a dining table for sharing mealtimes together. To the rear of the property is a cleverly designed, compact kitchen, with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. There’s also a twin bedroom and a bathroom. The gorgeous double bedroom is upstairs and boasts far-reaching vistas. The south-facing terrace is a haven of tranquillity, with furniture for al fresco dining and distant sea views.

St Ives is a vibrant town with cobbled streets, pretty fishermen’s cottages, and a fantastic range of independent shops and eateries. The town is also a painter’s paradise, thanks to the exquisite lighting and dramatic scenery, and there’s a fantastic collection of art galleries and studios to investigate. St Ives is renowned for its picture-postcard beaches, and all four main stretches of sand are within 1 mile of the property. From St Ives you can visit top attractions such as St Michael’s Mount, Land’s End, and The Minack Theatre (all within 20 miles).

It is a really nice cottage with a lot of space. The best is the view from the livingroom.

Very clean and comfortable apartment in an excellent location, quiet but so close to town and the beaches. Main issue was the confusion over the lack of a parking space which meant one had to park in a long stay car park a third of a mile away. This posed problems when returning from a day out as there were not always spaces available but you had aRead morelready paid for a week's parking. Hide

Lovely apartments located in the heart of St Ives. Everything is within 5 minutes walking distance. Every you need is provided for - home from home. Very comfortable mattresses. Only issue might be access for some people as it's located at the top of the hill so you need to be fit.
