Cute, chock-full of character and in the centre of Padstow, this contemporary cottage is the perfect coastal retreat for a couple and their four-legged pals.

Tucked away in a private courtyard setting, this delightful holiday home has been lovingly prepared to offer contemporary style and comfort for a couple and up to two canine companions. There’s space for all to stretch out in the lounge/diner, where two leather sofas and a modern dining suite sit before a stone fireplace – fire up the wood burner and settle down for a movie and a relaxing night in. Close by, the kitchen has all the essentials of home, while a ground-floor shower room is perfectly located for a quick refresh after a day on the beach. When it’s time to retire, the king-size bedroom on the first floor is bathed in light; for a touch of luxury, its en-suite bathroom has both a bath and a shower/steam room. Pull up a seat in your private courtyard garden and you can enjoy fresh air away from the crowds. There’s much-prized private parking within 50 metres too!

Famous as a foodie destination, Padstow is a great choice for a laid-back break with plenty to enjoy on the doorstep, including the glorious sandy beaches of the Camel Estuary. While away your days simply strolling around the historic town and harbour where there are shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to suit every appetite, or ride the ferry across the river to Rock, a favourite for water sports enthusiasts. If you’re in the mood for a longer walk, the Camel Trail is a flat route of 5.5 miles from Padstow to Wadebridge, or you could head 5 miles west to Trevose Head, a magnificent headland which on a fine day offers far-reaching views of the North Cornwall coast.

Compact and comfortable located in the centre of Padstow. Although close to the main pubs and venues it is remarkably quiet with a pleasant sitting space outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This cottage has the potential to be lovely. Its location right in the middle of Padstow is fantastic, and it has an enclosed garden area, especially useful for the dog. It has plenty of space for two but would benefit from some updating. The parking space, although a little tight, is really useful.

A lovely little cottage right in the centre of Padstow. It is tucked behind a door which leads down a small covered alleyway into a hidden area. A sweet little patio with table and chairs, dog proof. Lots of eateries and shops. Parking space is a little tight but we managed to park our KIA Niro there. Comfortable bed, good shower, well equipped kitchen. Hide
