When it’s time to retire, the king-size bedroom on the first floor is bathed in light; for a touch of luxury, its en-suite bathroom has both a bath and a shower/steam room. Pull up a seat in your private courtyard garden and you can enjoy fresh air away from the crowds. There’s much-prized private parking within 50 metres too!
Famous as a foodie destination, Padstow is a great choice for a laid-back break with plenty to enjoy on the doorstep, including the glorious sandy beaches of the Camel Estuary. While away your days simply strolling around the historic town and harbour where there are shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to suit every appetite, or ride the ferry across the river to Rock, a favourite for water sports enthusiasts. If you’re in the mood for a longer walk, the Camel Trail is a flat route of 5.5 miles from Padstow to Wadebridge, or you could head 5 miles west to Trevose Head, a magnificent headland which on a fine day offers far-reaching views of the North Cornwall coast.
