I knocked a point off for 2 reasons, the first that the bath towels were really small. They were bath towels and not bath sheets and were brown, fairly old looking and started to smell after a few days. Paying nearly 2k for a week, we would expect much better quality towels. Having 3 males all around 6ft 4", we felt it was like drying with a handkeRead morerchief! My second reason is that there were no instructions on the heating. We do not have underfloor heating so do not know how it works. Yes there was some information left by the house owners, but it was only to say the heating is on a timer to reflect the seasons and to just adjust in each room thermostat. Guidance on how high to set it would have been useful. We had not idea to set each room at say 0, 15 or 30 and of course it does not instantly heat up or cool down. So less vague and more thoughtful instructions would have been good. My final comment is that it was very wet for a couple of days and we decided to stay indoors but were freezing in the daytime. There was no way to turn the heating on and we had to wait until I think 7pm for the heating to come on. We were freezing and there was not even a little portable fan heater to heat up the room we were in. It was a miserable couple of days sitting under blankets with hot water bottles! Jolly glad it was March and not December. Apart from those comments, it was a lovely property and the views were amazing. Hide
