Let the sights and sounds of the sea surround you when staying in this wonderful Cornish cottage, a place complete with two bay windows presenting luscious views across Newlyn Harbour. Dog friendly and a great option for families, this three-storey cottage sleeps six guests amongst exceptionally comfortable surroundings. The property is situated in a great position for exploring Penzance, just 1.5 miles away, or getting stuck into exploring some of the beautiful beaches that hug Cornwall’s south coast and stretch all the way along to the mighty Land’s End (9 miles).

Convenience is assured in this bright and modern house where amenities include a ground-floor WC, a zip-and-link bedroom on the second floor and a fully-equipped kitchen with all of the mod-cons. You’ll need to climb two flights of stairs to access the elevated property, but you’ll appreciate the views as soon as you arrive. Sit out on the front terrace to admire the sparkling sea with a morning coffee or fire up the BBQ in the enclosed rear courtyard. Both a sunroom and a lounge are located on the ground floor, two lovely spots to relax in as evening falls. When it’s time for bed find a king-size, a twin and a double bedroom laid out over two storeys, all served by a family bathroom.

With its art deco lido, a vibrant art gallery and plenty of gardens to be discovered, Penzance is a wonderful holiday destination that people return to time after time. The town’s harbour also unlocks a world of adventure in daily boat trips - embark on a sea safari or take a tour of the Isles of Scilly. Those keen to cruise the local islands can also plan a trip to Marazion (4.5 miles) to visit St Michael’s Mount (5 miles), wandering over the causeway at low tide.

The view was amazing but the house was on a hill with several steps to enter the property . It would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues and parking was a nightmare

Kitchen plinth kept falling off. Self closing toilet seat would not open fully and kept closing onto one's back while toilet was used. Very hot front rooms ... no fans provided. General inside cleaning was excellent but the less regular jobs were not up to date: Dirty windows, courtyard floor needed a good wash and brush, white venetian blinds Read morevery dusty, furniture on deck very wobbly and worn, 2 cream leather sofas grimey and needed cleaned. Baby cot was grubby. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower was powerful and perfect! The white towels were thick fluffy and luxurious. Baby highchair clean and new. We were able to book Tuesday to Tuesday (not limited to a weekend start) that was excellent us. Hide
