Embrace the combination of coastal and country living in this luxury property. Perfect for large groups, this cottage welcomes eight friends or family to experience the natural beauty of North Cornwall.

This stunning cottage marries contemporary with cosy for a stay to remember. Invite your guests into the generous lounge/kitchen/diner, where your first port of call is to say ’cheers!’ to your holiday. Settle with your drinks in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire on chilly nights, while outside, a spectacular decked terrace presents a prime spot for basking on balmy evenings. When tummies begin to rumble, cater for your party in the neutrally decorated kitchen and recharge your batteries with a hearty meal at the social dining table. Sleepyheads will appreciate the range of bedrooms available across the three floors; two zip-and-link twin rooms, a twin with a balcony overlooking gorgeous valley views, and a king-size with an en-suite with even more rolling countryside panoramics. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony or take it into the garden and watch the sun peek from behind the hills.

Spend a lazy afternoon moseying around Little Petherick’s old granite cottages and historic architecture (0.5 miles), a quaint village nestled in the wooded valley of Little Petherick Creek. Cycle or stroll along the Camel Trail (5 miles) over to the lively seaside town of Padstow, and fill up on delicious seafood suppers in the renowned restaurants of Rick Stein. Its bustling harbour is ideal for kids to try fishing, while adults can check out some of the local arts in the many galleries and shops. The family-fun attraction of Camel Creek Theme Park is a mere 3.5 miles away, whereas golfers may want to take their shot over at Merlin Golf Course (7 miles). The whole party is well-catered for in this comfortable cottage!

We have enjoyed a wonderful week in the sunshine at this wonderful house. There was everything we needed and more. We would recommend visits to Polzeath, St Ives & Mevagissey . Highlights were speed boat ride in Padstow and Blue Wing Surf School at Fistral Beach in Newquay. We also had a lovely meal at The Pickwick Hotel nearby.
