Take time to treat yourself to a sumptuous holiday in Cornwall. Ideal for a mixed group, this property is the perfect place for pampering, relaxing and then running down to the beach for some serious surfing.
Upon entering the property you’ll find a large open-plan living space with a kitchen and dining area. There are sofas at one end so everyone can spend time together, even if they’re participating in different activities. Next door you’ll find a games room complete with a billiards table. There’s also a utility room and a shower room so if you return from the beach covered in salt and sand you can quickly hose off. This property has four bedrooms, each with an en-suite. Two are downstairs: one twin and a double room. Head upstairs for the other two bedrooms, both king-sized with deep baths in their en-suites. The first floor has a second lounge, with a wood burner, large sofas and a telescope for watching the evening sky. You’ll see two glass patio doors which allow natural light to enter and lead to an under-eaves balcony with a table and chairs, the ideal spot for an evening drink. The garden is lovely and has a small seating area for soaking up the sun, and finally a hot tub under a gazebo for that ultimate holiday feeling.
The seaside town of Trevone is fairly small and mostly devoted to surfing. You’ll be 500 metres from Trevone Bay, which is popular with beachcombers and surfers and has businesses which hire out boards. For evenings out, try Padstow: it’s 2 miles away and has plenty of pubs and bars. Finally, catch the ferry and visit Pentire Point for coastal walks, an Iron Age settlement affectionately called “the rumps” and opportunities to see wild seals and peregrines.
