Cute as can be, this sweet little apartment near Liskeard is just right for a solo adventure or romantic getaway, and even welcomes a furry friend, too. Explore walks in the surrounding countryside, relax in the tranquil garden and enjoy a great night’s sleep in the cosy mezzanine bedroom.

This characterful annexe is part of a converted stone barn, and its interesting features include beautiful timber doors, a narrow, open-tread staircase and exposed beams. There’s a kitchenette at the far end which is perfect for whipping up meals for one or two people, and a small table where you can dine. Comfortable seating faces the TV, which has an Amazon firestick to stream moves and play music. Steps down lead to the spacious bathroom, which also has cupboard and hanging space. Looking over the living area is the glass-fronted mezzanine bedroom, a small space with a low, sloping ceiling and a double bed for a cosy night’s sleep. Outside, your paved garden area has a table and chairs overlooking the pond and shared main grounds, consisting of 13 acres bordered by the River Tiddy which you’re welcome to explore.

Enjoy your peaceful location in the hamlet of Coombe, and within 5 miles you can reach the villages of Menheniot and Tideford, where there are the pubs and small convenience shops. Head to the south coast and in 9 miles you’ll be in Looe, a picturesque fishing port with a sandy beach and lots of places to eat and drink.
