Stroll beside the River Fowey on your way to dine out on fresh Cornish seafood or to browse in boutiques and galleries. This enticing holiday home looks out towards the river from some of its rooms, including its sumptuous second-floor lounge. It is also in a superb location for meandering around town, heading off to beautiful beaches and exploring this south-eastern section of coastal Cornwall. Sleeping seven guests, the four-bedroom villa also welcomes four-legged friends.

Make your way into the property via an external flight of 15 steps and wander through to the bright kitchen/diner to unpack the fresh produce you have bought and start preparing lunch. Whip up a tasty feast, then call everyone to the table, opening the French doors that are two steps up, on sunny days. Also downstairs is a single bedroom, with additional, single pull-out bed. A king-size bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom, and two doubles, one with a smaller 4’ bed for one person, are on the first floor, together with a family bathroom. The lounge, which has skylight windows bringing the natural light flooding in and offering views of the river, is up on the second floor. Here you can settle on the soft seating in front of a film on TV or a DVD. Carry your morning coffee out into the small courtyard when the weather is warm and relax out here with a glass of wine in the evening. Parking is in a public pay car park less than 100 metres from the house.

Walk about 250 metres to catch the ferry over to Bodinnick, then drive 2.5 miles down to the National Trust’s scenic beach at Lantic Bay. Alternatively, a 1-mile walk beside the river and estuary will take you to Readymoney Cove, where you can also swim and spend time on the sand.

First time to Fowey and would definitely visit again and would stay in this accommodation again. Four very comfortable rooms and very comfortable beds. Beautiful crisp white linen and large white fluffy bath towel towels. The top floor room gives beautiful views and it's a lovely area for the Family to gather Fully equipped Kitchen with washRead moreing machine tumble dryer and dishwasher Car parking at Caffa mill was 17 for the week in the council car park or just up the road was about 40 for the week. It was sometimes difficult to get back into caffa mill of an evening but we managed it every day with a little waiting Dogs are very welcome in almost every establishment in Fowey but places to exercise your Dog are limited. We had to toilet our dog on the far side of the car park near the entrance to the car ferry as the only bit of scrubland for him to have a wee. Dogs are not allowed on most of the beaches between 10 am and 6 pm in July and August. Par beach does allow dogs all year round apparently and is about a 15 minute drive away. Hide

A very well appointed cottage in an excellent location in quaint village of Fowey. The Caffa Mill car park is close by for transporting luggage as the property is on a narrow one way street.

Just returned from a fabulous break at North End. The house is lovely, well appointed and well equipped. Beds were comfy and fabulous lounge at the top. We travelled with 2 teenage boys and my parents in their 70's with slight mobility issues and they managed the stairs fine. There is a little harbour noise from the Bodinnick Ferry in a morning butRead more it didn't really upset life. Its quite nice listening to the comings and goings of Fowey. Its a fab position, the boys are avid fishermen and its an ideal position for the slipway just outside the property and not far from other good fishing spots. In the town. Parking isn't too bad if you can't get in Caffa Mill you can get in the Just Parks up the way. The only thing is it isn't council run so if you buy a weeks pass you can't use it in both. Lovely walks from the area too, Hall walk is beautiful, about 3.5 miles and a great round trip ending at Polruan. Lankelly loop lovely again about 2.5 miles start at Ready Money and visIt a couple of lovely coves. Also recommend walking to Golant again about 2.5 miles fab pub at Golant. All in all fab accomodation and location highly recommend! See you soon Fowey! Hide

Great location close enough to everything but away from the hustle and bustle. The room at the top is a real asset with great views and a lovely chill out space. Would work best for four adults with children rather than three couples in our opinion. Would stay again.
