An impressive, contemporary apartment, ideally situated in Fowey, is perfect for couples, families or friends looking for a relaxing holiday and a base to explore the local countryside and coast. Located in the heart of the town, there is a delightful roof terrace overlooking the river. Fowey is a fishing town with striking multicoloured cottages perched on the hillsides leading down to the sea and offers some great boutique shops and harbourside eateries to enjoy. There is even an aquarium where you can learn about the local sea life.

This wonderful reverse-level property set over three floors has been designed to maximise the space, light and delightful views of the estuary. With chic and stylish furnishings, this is the perfect place to gather and enjoy dining with a lovely view. On the ground floor is the entrance hall, which leads up to the first floor, where you’ll find the two bedrooms - a king-size with a Smart TV and en-suite shower and a super-king-size with a Smart TV. A family bathroom completes this floor. On the second floor is the living area with coastal themes, blue tones, and splendid views over the estuary. The two sofas are a treat to relax in, and a Smart TV provides the entertainment. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and there is a modern glass table to enjoy memorable dishes and recall the day’s adventure. Outside is a terrace with seating and views over the river, perfect for afternoon drinks or an evening sundowner.

There is plenty to discover in the area. Take the ferry from Fowey to Polruan and discover this ancient fishing village set on a steep hill with a pretty harbour. If you enjoy beautiful gardens, head to the world-famous Lost Gardens of Heligan (14 miles) and explore this 200-acre site. There are also some lovely beaches to build sandcastles or try out water sports, including Polkerris Beach (3 miles).

Beautiful property in the heart of Fowey, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The roof terrace is a real plus we used it lots. For unloading we used the short stay car park and parked in the main car park for the week. We took a boat trip to Mevagissey, visited Nation Trust Lynhydrock, walked the coastal path and enjoyed the beach & CarlyonRead more Bay. Lots of nice restaurants and ice cream shops. Lovely well equipped apartment right in the centre of Fowey. The gulls make using the balcony almost impossible during nesting season. Well placed for restaurants and some beautiful walks.

Pont View is a clean, upgraded, well equipped and tastefully furnished apartment in the heart of the main shopping and dining street in Fowey. There is a beautiful view across the estuary from the kitchen as well as from the roof deck. Please note, it is rather tricky to access this deck for anyone with mobility issues. On that note, for visitors uRead morenfamiliar with Fowey, there is no parking near the property. You must park your car in one of the town's car parks; the main one of which is accessed either by a very steep ten minute walk or via a shuttle service. In terms of visiting Fowey itself, there are a number of cute shops and good restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Pintxo, a wonderful little tapas place about a ten minute walk. And if you are planning day trips, don't miss Polperro. Hide

We stayed here with friends. The cottage is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and ideally located. Its a few minutes walk to the harbour, pubs and shops and approximately 10 seconds across the road to one of the best bakers Ive been to. You must try the Cruffin. Parking is not ideal but where in Cornwall is?. I would not hesitate to return herRead moree or recommend it to anyone. Hide
