Lap up a peaceful stay in this elevated cottage just moments from the working harbour of Mevagissey. Exceptionally stylish decor, magnificent views and proximity to family fun make this a superb retreat for friends and family.

Walk into this reverse-level property to find three beautifully presented bedrooms with incredible attention to detail. Enjoy a freshen-up before changing into your cosiest pyjamas and go up to the first floor, where a stylish open-plan living area awaits you. This wonderfully sociable space is perfect for enjoying each other’s company after long explorations on the Cornish coast. If you plan to eat in, rustle up a delicious feast in the well-appointed kitchen, and retire to the lounge to spark up the wood burner. Feeling warm and homely, sink into the plush sofas and catch up with the latest box office hit on the smart TV. In the morning, wake up to the smell of fresh coffee bubbling away, and use the breakfast bar to dig into your hearty full English.

Stroll down to the attractive working harbour of Mevagissey, with its picturesque maze of narrow streets and rows upon rows of pretty coloured cottages. The whole family will enjoy visiting the pubs, galleries, cafes and shops or tucking into a locally caught fish supper with a stunning backdrop. For a dip in Cornwall’s famous shimmering seas, head over to Porthmellon, just half a mile from the cottage. For something a little different, the Lost Gardens of Heligan (2.5 miles) are worth a trip, while the world-renowned Eden Project is a mere 10 miles away. To see the coastline from new heights, hop onto the South West Coast Path and wind your way around the county’s cliffs, beaches and coves.

The house lovely, it is in a great location for walking into the village. It is equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and showers are good. The open plan living works well upstairs. It rained a lot when we were there so we spent a lot more time there than we would normally do and it was very cozy. Ideal for the dogs too, acRead morecess straight into the utility to dry off. Hide

The most stunning holiday home in the perfect location. Just a stones throw from the sea, a few local shops, pubs and restaurants. Every home comfort you can imagine and beautifully stylish.

A beautifully appointed upside down house with careful attention to detail and spotlessly clean. Great location being 5 mins walking distance to harbour and with a bus stop outside which will take you to the lost gardens of Heligan and various locations along the coast.

This is a lovely property, well equipped, only 5 minutes from Mevagissey harbour. Nice touch of a bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival. Even when we had an issue the owner contacted us immediately and couldnt have been more helpful in resolving it. Would happily recommend it. John B

A lovely property with excellent facilities. Everything that was described on the website was accurate. Warm and cosy with very comfortable furnishings. The perfect base to explore the towns and villages around Mevagissey. I would definitely recommend this property to other family and friends.

I cant recommend this property highly enough. Great location - just a five min walk into Mevagissey, dedicated parking, spotlessly clean, dog friendly, well laid out, well equipped and the wet room was a real bonus. Lovely house in a perfect location. Just a short stroll from Mevagissey harbour and just off the main road out of the village if you're heading further afield. The house itself is great, of a very high standard with large bedrooms and lots of storage space. The small patio out the back was a bonus!
