Property code: OC-P00883

This welcoming cabin is set on a high-quality holiday park on Cornwall’s north coast, close to Padstow and its many cafes and restaurants. With a children’s play park on site and within easy reach of numerous fabulous beaches, it’s a great choice for a family getaway.

Designed for comfort and convenience, the cabin is set all on one level, with an open-plan living space that’s bright and practical. Step straight from the kitchen area, equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare family snacks and meals, to the dining table, and after supper you can relax on the comfortable sofas and read, play games or watch a DVD or the TV. Two compact bedrooms, a double and a twin, both have ample storage, and they share a bathroom with a shower over the bath. A shared grassy area surrounds the cabin and its neighbours, and you have your own picnic bench on a small patio for relaxing or and perhaps bringing a meal out to enjoy in the fresh air.

The cabin is located on the Atlantic Bays Holiday Park, just outside beautiful St Merryn village, where local eateries include Rick Stein’s pub The Cornish Arms. For more high-quality places to eat, it’s only 4 miles to Padstow and its Michelin restaurants. You’ll also find a variety of shops and galleries in this lovely harbour town, which is well worth a wander. Some of the UK’s best beaches are nearby - they’re the famous ‘Seven Bays for Seven Days’, including Trevone Bay, 4 miles, which is popular with surfers, and the secluded Mother Ivey’s Bay, also 4 miles - while the renowned Eden Project is just 19 miles away.

Not a cottage, a holiday chalet, generally good apart from the comments above, I would certainly return.

The cottage is a chalet and with some TLC, could be a great holiday accommodation. The bathroom is dated and in need of a refurb; although the shower was great. The location is perfect and if the clubhouse wasn't shut due to the wind blowing the roof off, the site and facilities would have been great as well.

Bathroom was very dated and smelled of urine which I think was likely soaked into the toilet flooring. I also have not received my deposit back and we returned from our holiday 8 days ago.
